Changelog

What has shipped in the Neo Dialer platform.

Customer-facing summary of platform releases. Dates are release dates.

v1.6.6 — 31 July 2026

Fixed

  • An agent could get pinned to a call that had already ended, with presence

flipping between wrap-up and on-call. Agent presence now follows call transitions only, so ending a call reliably releases the agent.

  • Call control actions on a call are now always routed to the media server that

actually handled it, rather than falling back to another server that never saw the call.

v1.6.5 — 27 July 2026

Added

  • Pending Bookings. Calendar writes an AI agent could not complete now land

in a queue for a human to pick up, instead of being lost.

  • Capability-level AI status. Tenants see AI status as capabilities — Call

Transcription, Call Analysis, Voice Synthesis — rather than vendor names.

  • Collapsible sidebar sections across the agent, admin and platform sidebars.

Changed

  • An AI agent that cannot complete a booking now says so. Previously an

unavailable integration could produce a confirmation for a booking that never happened.

  • A phone number now routes inbound to exactly one tenant, enforced by a

database constraint. Assigning a number already claimed by another tenant produces an outbound-caller-ID-only assignment rather than breaking inbound for both.

v1.6.4 — 26 July 2026

Fixed

  • Call reconciliation now only judges calls the reconciling node can actually

see, so records are no longer left open when several nodes share a registry.

v1.6.3 — 25 July 2026

Added

  • Call reconciler. Closes call records left open by a browser crash or lost

connection, so reporting does not accumulate calls that never formally ended.

  • Agent status reconciler. Corrects agent presence that drifted out of sync.

v1.6.2 — 25 July 2026

Added

  • Hangup cause captured. The SIP cause for a call ending is now recorded, so

a failed call can be diagnosed from the record.

Changed

  • Outcomes are decided by the media server. A call the network determined was

busy, unanswered or voicemail keeps that outcome; the browser can no longer overwrite it with a generic "completed". Connect rates are more accurate as a result — and, for some tenants, lower than they previously appeared.

AI Engine Sprint — 14 March 2026

Added

  • New AI providers and models. Cartesia added as a text-to-speech provider

with telephony-optimised output; Deepgram Nova-3 for speech recognition with faster endpointing; GPT-4.1 selectable as a language model.

  • Confirmation gate. AI agents cannot book an appointment without an explicit

confirmation step first, so nothing is booked the caller did not agree to.

  • Customer lookup during a call. Agents can look up a caller by phone or

email within the tenant and use their history in the conversation.

  • Calendar availability checks and booking to a Google Sheet.
  • Inbound AI receptionists. Inbound calls can be routed to an AI agent, with

receptionists linked to industry templates.

  • Two new industry templates — Car Rental Agency, and Tourism & Luxury

Experiences.

  • Live call insights. A real-time panel showing transcript, tool calls, call

state and duration while a call is in progress.

  • Improved voicemail detection. Detected voicemail is recorded as such and

not billed as a connected call.

  • Integration health and proactive token refresh. Connected integrations

report their status, and OAuth tokens are refreshed ahead of expiry rather than failing mid-call.
